Seed Propagators

Propagators are designed to provide a micro-climate over germination seeds.
A cover over the tray and growing medium encloses warm air that promotes seed germination. Most fruit and vegetable seeds need between 16 and 19C to germinate.
A basic clear cover over a seed tray left on a windowsill will heat up throughout the day but cool down as soon as the sun sets
Electric propagators provide continuous stable heat all the time.
This can be advantageous for starting seeds early in the growing season when sunlight levels are insufficient to germinate seeds in unheated trays on window sills.
The electric propagator is ideal for the beginner and experienced allotment plot owner or GYO person.
They are designed to provide an even heat distribution of 16-19°C which covers most germination temperatures of common allotment seeds.
